Here is some information that should be helpful to new families...
1) How do I choose my puppy?
-If you are close enough we can set up a time/day for you to come visit and choose your puppy. We start allowing visitors after pups have had their first vaccinations.
-If you are not close enough for a visit you can see photos on our
website and speak with us about individual pups and litters to help
you decide which pup is right for you and your family.
2) Once I have chosen my pup what do I do?
-If your pup is not ready to go home a deposit of $150-300 will hold your pup until it is old enough to go home. If you are picking up your puppy you will pay the rest when you pick it up. If your puppy is being shipped the remainder of the balance will be due the week
before your puppy is shipped.
-If you have chosen a pup but cannot pick it up when it is ready to go
or you have chosen a pup that is old enough to leave at that time but
you are not ready to take the pup there will be a small boarding fee
for us to keep the pup for an extended period of time.
3) When can I take my puppy home?
-We allow our Springer pups to go home after 9 weeks old, after their second vaccination.
-We allow our English Cocker pups to go home after 12 weeks old after their third vaccination.
4) Will my puppy be up to date on vaccinations, etc. when I take it
home?
-Yes, all of our puppies are kept up to date on vaccinations and
wormings while they are here with us. Depending on the age of
your pup they may still need additional vaccinations or other Vet
care after they go home with you.
5) Are the pups placed with any sort of contract?
-Yes, all of our pups are placed with a 2 year health guarantee against
genetic defects as well as a spay/neuter agreement.
6) If I can't pick my puppy up what are my options for getting it
home?
-If you can't come and get your pup we have a wonderful ground shipper that can bring it to you just about anywhere in the country.
